I have been an athlete since I was young; playing a variety of soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. After high school, I continued on with my education at a Police Academy and have returned back to my hometown to serve the community I grew up in. I've tried all types of workouts, P90X, isolated weight lifting and got bored with it. I was introduced to CrossFit by family and LOVED it after my first class. Once I started there was no stopping. I've loved it ever since and it has changed my life.
In December 2013, I received my Level 1 Certification and am currently helping various members of my law enforcement team both in town and the county in getting physically fit. My passion for starting my own gym comes from my desire to work with people and help them achieve more than they ever thought possible, both physically and mentally. Crossfit to me is a daily reminder of what my body and mind are capable of achieving. I am constantly pushed to the limits and as I look back on this past year, I see how far I have come and how much more I can achieve. I want to be a part of other people experiencing this same joy and determination. Having the opportunity to give back to the community that gave me so much growing up is my underlying drive. This is a great community with exceptional individuals who work hard and push one another to become their very best.
Growing up in Wayne County makes me very excited to be aprt of CrossFit Volatus in my own backyard. I have been involved in sports since a very young age. During my youth I developed a strong passion for softball. Since then I have developed a new passion.
I was introduced to CrossFit about four years ago and I have been hooked since my first class. Reaching one goal after another I decided it was time to assist others in accomplishing theirs as well. I received my Level One training certificate in March of 2014. I am looking forward to getting everyone as enthusiastic about CrossFit as I am .
